The fourth course is 2 days in duration, and runs from Tuesday to Wednesday (October 23-24, 2012). All training courses run from 8:30am-5:00pm.

The three day courses are as follows:

Enterprise Incident Response by Mandiant

Trainers: Chris Nutt and Ryan Kazanciyan

Attacks against computer systems continue to increase in frequency and sophistication. In order to effectively defend data and intellectual property, organizations must have the ability to rapidly detect and respond to threats. MANDIANT has developed the MANDIANT Enterprise Incident Response course to provide security personnel the skills needed to quickly identify and respond to sophisticated attacks. The course is based on the real-world experience of MANDIANT consultants who have years of experience combatting sophisticated attacks. The course includes real-world case studies and hands-on exercises.

Offensive Techniques by Attack Research

Trainers: Russ Gideon and David Kerb

In the professional information security world, there has yet to be a course which provides the students the knowledge and skills to carry out a real world attack. Traditional penetration testing courses impart only a limited view of the exposure and vulnerabilities companies suffer from. Traditional classes are generally focused on standard scanner, framework and tool usage as well as techniques for collecting "shells" on target systems. In contrast, this course is designed to teach its students how to plan and execute a successful attack against a target, using the same techniques and mindsets that real attackers use.

The Web Application Hacker's Handbook – 2nd Edition Live by MDSec

Trainer: Marcus Pinto (co-author of the Web Application Hacker's Handbook)

The Web Application Hacker's Handbook (WAHH) Series, co-authored by the creator of BurpSuite (Dafydd Studdard aka PortSwigger), is the most deep and comprehensive general purpose guide to hacking web applications that is currently available. This course is a practical opportunity to take the skills and theory taught in the book to the next level, experimenting with all of the tools (including Burp Suite) and techniques against numerous vulnerable web applications and labs under the guidance of the book's authors.
